Used ControlDNS app to install yet NSLookup times out

I used the app to configure ControlDNS yet when I do a nslookup on a domain that I could not reach on Win10 I see that it is using server 127.0.0.1 and the lookup times out. The IPv6 is disabled on this machine and IPV4 is set to use 127.0.0.1. Even after allowing the domain through the filter the NSLookup still times out! Brave Browser reaches the domain after I put a filer in place yet NSLookup times out. IPV4 setting shows it is using 127.0.0.1 and IPV6 is disabled on Win10.

Restrict Redirect Auto mode to home country

For the privacy redirect feature, I would like to use the auto mode rather than manually selecting a city. I live near the border of another country and it always picks an ip from a different country than my home country, causing services like riot games to geoblock me.

Control D Quick Setup app doesn't work on QF001 Roco K706 Android car head unit

I have a QF001 Roco K706 car head unit which runs Android 10 / fake Android 13. When I try to set the DNS to Control D via the "Control D Quick Setup" app downloaded from the Play Store the setup app stops working and the DNS is not set. Any advice how to fix it? Unfortunately, there is no setting in the head unit's setup menu to set the DNS, so I cannot use the manual setup method.
