DNS over TLS config on asus router

Hello, on an Asus router I'm trying to config DNS over TLS and I have followed the instructions from here: https://docs.controld.com/docs/asus-router-setup
The only part i'm somewhat confused is that on a modern asus router there is a location under LAN->DHCP to enter DNS entries. I tried leaving this blank but that just caused an outage. Right now i'm using 76.76.2.22 and wanted to make sure this is correct or if I should be using my routers IP to ensure the configured DNS over TLS is being used.
