Recently, I've found that if I want to download audio from the UK's BBC Sounds website while controld is configured on my device, I can't.

I've looked for things that are being blocked and I'm finding nothing relevant. However, BBC Sounds has recently started tightening up access and some things are restricted to the UK only.

Now: I'm in the UK already. So I don't need to pretend I am when I'm not (and I'm already using Windscribe when I DO want to obscure where I am) but it seems that just using controld's dns filtering is (now) enough to make the BBC assume I'm Up To Something Dodgy.

I've submitted a request to them -- about a month back -- but nothing's changed, and the ONLY difference between having the access I want and not having it is whether I have controld configured for the device I'm using.

I'm kind of annoyed, because I feel that controld gives me security that the BBC are asking me to forego, and I'm not -- as far as I can tell -- blocking anything in the connection between them and me. But I can't stop them tracing the route I'm taking to get to their site and that's about the only thing I can think of that might be their issue.

Is there anything you can suggest that will enable me to NOT have to disable controld and restart my browser before I can get the required access?
