Real-Time Alerts for Specific Domain Hits & Device Inactivity

Hi,

I am writing to request a new alerting feature that would make device monitoring and network administration significantly easier, especially for managing family devices or enforcing strict security policies.

Currently, there is no native way to get proactively notified about specific network events. I would love to see an alerting system implemented with the following two triggers:

  1. Targeted Domain / Category Alerts
I would like the ability to set up an alert whenever a specific domain (e.g., example.com) or a specific filter category (e.g., Adult Content or Malware) is queried by a device.

Use Case: Instead of constantly checking the analytics logs to see if a blocked or restricted site was attempted, I could get an automatic notification. This would be incredibly useful for parental controls or monitoring a high-security environment, allowing admins to know immediately when a restricted category is hit (even if the query was successfully blocked).

  1. Device Inactivity / Disconnect Alerts (Dead Man's Switch)
I would like to receive an alert if a specific device has not made a DNS query to Control D for a designated period of time (e.g., 15min, 30min, 1 hour, 6 hours, 24 hours).

Use Case: When managing a child's device or a remote server, it is hard to know if they are actually using the Control D profile. If a user uninstalls the DNS profile, changes their DNS settings, or turns on a third-party VPN, their device will simply stop querying Control D. An "inactive device" alert would immediately notify me that the device has bypassed the DNS or gone completely offline, rather than requiring me to manually verify the "Last Seen" timestamp for every device.

Proposed Notification Methods:
Ideally, these alerts could be routed through simple integrations like Email, Webhooks (to connect to Discord, Slack)

Thank you for considering this request and for all the great work on the platform!
