What to do about thousands of clients using the same mac address?

For context, all of the unique hostnames are being generated by Homeassistant. I don't actually why that is but the end result is that I currently have 4728 clients named 'homeassist', all of which have the same mac address. Examples

homeassistant766467
and so for another 4725 times.

And this is only on one Endpoint.

I can always delete them manually but they keep coming.

Ideally, it would be nice if ControlD didn't create new clients when there's duplicate mac address attached but perhaps that could be an option that could be turned on or off depending on need.

On the other hand, if thousands of new clients are being created every week, a way to automatically purge stale records would be nice.

To note, I have ControlD installed on several devices so that currently means manually removing thousands of clients from multiple Endpoints. It gets a bit tedious. I asked Barry a few times for solutions but he's come up empty.
