Feature Request: Mobile-Optimized Interface for Rules & Exceptions

Problem Statement

Currently, managing rules or adding exceptions on a mobile device is difficult. Users must "Request Desktop Site" in mobile browsers (like Chrome or Brave on Android) to access the full dashboard. The current desktop UI does not scale well to touch interfaces, making it frustrating to navigate, toggle services, or add custom domains while on the go.

Proposed Solution

Implement a Responsive Mobile View specifically for the "Services" and "Custom Rules" sections to allow for quick adjustments. Key improvements should include:

  • Touch-Friendly Targets: Increase the size of toggles and buttons to prevent accidental clicks.
  • Search-Centric Navigation: A prominent, persistent search bar at the top to quickly find a service (e.g., "Netflix" or "TikTok") without infinite scrolling.
  • Swipe Actions: Implement "Swipe to Action" (e.g., swipe right to Bypass, swipe left to Block) for individual services.
  • Quick-Add Floating Action Button (FAB): A dedicated button to instantly add a new Custom Rule or Exception from any screen.
  • Simplified Rule List: A condensed view that prioritizes the rule name and its current status (Bypass/Block/Redirect/Default) over complex metadata.

User Impact

  • Reduced Friction: Users can fix a "broken" app or site in seconds rather than fighting a desktop layout on a small screen.
  • Improved Accessibility: Makes the platform significantly more usable for mobile-first users or those managing their home network via a smartphone.
  • Better Retention: A seamless mobile experience sets Control D apart from competitors who only offer clunky desktop dashboards.
