Use DoT Endpoint for Legacy Resolver instead of DDNS

I created a Legacy Resolver to create a very strickt blocklist for my IoT devices in my home network, since I can only add IPv4 addresses.
The legacy resolver is getting the DynDNS that I configured using the "Expose IP via DNS" of my Home Router which is connected via DoT.

Instead of using this complex route, would it be possible to add an option to get the IP address from an existing DoT or DoH device for a legacy resolver? Obviously this goes only if the devices are in the same network.
