Why is my DNS lookup routed to a Swedish server (OBEHosting AB) from Asia?

I am a user from the Asian region, but for some reason, every time I perform a DNS lookup, it uses a DNS server in Sweden (OBEHosting AB). My browsing experience has slowed down.

I would like to know why this happens and if it is possible to route my queries through a closer DNS server in Asia for better performance.
