Windows AV Thinks Ctrld.Exe is Malicous

I was in the online ControlD dashboard. I noticed that a couple of my devices had an old version of Ctrld.exe so I told the dashboard to update the devices.

Shortly after doing that I received a warning from Windows 11 Security that ctrld.exe was detected as a severe Trojan :Win32/Wacatac.h!ml. The warning said that the program is dangerous and executes commands from attackers.

This very scary.

I will whitelist the EXE. Perhaps ControlD contacts Microsoft and explains why this is not malware.
