Direct from Barry the AI chatbot in the ControlD platform:
Currently, the Control D public API does not include endpoints that let you fetch analytics data about DNS queries, traffic, or details on what was blocked/bypassed. The API supports setting analytics levels for devices, but actual reporting/query logs are not exposed via endpoints.

We'd like to request the development of API functionality that allows for programmatic access to the data found under the following tabs in the Analytics section of the Control D dashboard:

Statistics

Activity Log

Reports

These three data views are crucial for understanding DNS behavior, client actions, and policy impacts across our organization. As a Managed Services Provider (MSP) managing multiple clients, we rely heavily on centralized data aggregation and automation. Providing access to this data via API would allow us to synchronize DNS analytics with our internal dashboards and monitoring platforms.

Priority Consideration:
While Admin Logs are less critical to expose via API, the ability to fetch Statistics, Activity Logs, and Reports is essential to our operations and scalability.

We believe this feature would greatly benefit all enterprise and MSP users who need to integrate Control D analytics into broader infrastructure monitoring and security tooling.
