Frustrated on how to enable and disable ControlD

I have a paid account for ControlD and it seems to work fine for months and then for some reason it has issues doing DNS lookups when I restore a series of tabs in my Brave browser. I have been using version 1.3.7 of ControlD.exe on Windows11 to configure the service for over 9 months.

Barry said that I should use a power shell script to install a service and use ctrld.exe from the command line to temporarily stop the service or uninstall it completely. Barry seems to have no idea what the ControlD.exe GUI is which appears to be upgraded but for the life of me I have no idea where to download the most recent version of it.
