Browser extension: show rules that blocked domains on website
I really like Control D, and I couldn't go back to the unfiltered internet without feeling substantial pain, but it has some issues. I'll mention two recent ones.
I use GitHub Copilot in IntelliJ Idea, and one feature, agent mode, was not shown because the domain telemetry.individual.githubcopilot.com was blocked by the native Malware filter. Other features (ask and edit mode) worked, so it was hard to narrow it down to DNS.
I couldn't redeem a promo code on Audible UK without disabling Control D. I don't know if it was blocked by a native or a 3rd party filter.
I understand how DNS filters work, and I'm not blaming you for these issues, however, I would appreciate some more advanced tooling to track them down. For example, a browser extension for identifying blocked domains in browser might be helpful. When the user turns rule tracking on, the extension could connect to Control D logs and figure out which domain requests were blocked by which rule. It would be more convenient than examining logs.
