At random times during the day, my internet will stop working completely, and upon logging into my router interface (Ubiquiti Edgerouter-X), the ctrld process is maxing all 4 processor cores, causing all internet traffic to stop.

There doesn't seem to be anything in particular that triggers it, and most often I need to manually restart the ctrld process from an SSH console to get it to restore my internet.

The ctrld configuration is default, other than the profiles/endpoints setup on the web.

Anyone else experiencing this behaviour? Any ideas to resolve?
