Dear team,

I am probably one of the few who uses almost all the filters on ControlD, and I find them very effective. Recently, about a month ago, I requested the addition of a filter to block all News websites (you can see the post here), and I’ve been told it will be introduced in a future update. Nice!

Now, I would like to propose new filter categories that I’d like to see added. All of them are focused on "productivity" during working hours; in other contexts, they wouldn’t make much sense, of course.

1. Forums and online communities (that are not strictly social media sites)
   • Includes sites like Reddit, Quora, and other discussion forums that can be distracting.

2. Streaming media
   • Blocks platforms like Netflix, YouTube, Spotify, etc., to prevent distractions during work hours.

3. E-commerce
   • Restricts access to shopping sites such as Amazon, eBay, and similar platforms to reduce time spent on unnecessary purchases during work hours.

4. General entertainment
   • Filters content like memes, humor websites, and similar distractions (e.g., 9gag, Bored Panda).

5. Audio and podcasts
   • Prevents access to podcast sites or audio platforms that might distract users.
