I have set up a number of services on my ControlD account. Has been working well for IPTV redirects and blocking.

Today I decided to feed all non-services through my nearest transparent proxy in Vancouver. This has resulted in exceedingly slow DNS lookups.

Using ctrld on my router. With transparent proxy enabled, it takes multiple seconds to load duckduckgo, google, or any other website as the DNS resolving seems to take multiple seconds. With transparent proxy disabled, devices load websites quickly, as is expected.

Happens on wireless and wired clients within the home. Some of the devices have separate endpoint entries (as they are using securedns provided by ControlD for use when in 5G as well as Wifi at home).

I wanted to add the general proxy as a privacy matter, since my router slows down to much when running Wireguard.

Is this a known problem, or a config error on my end? What can I do to resolve it?
