Featuure request: When using ctrld on a router, capture the client's IP address in the analytics
over 1 year ago by Paul Chambers
The analytics currently record the same IP (the public IP address of the router) for all queries originating from a ctrld daemon running on a router. This is isn't terribly useful.
I'd like to request that the Control D service implements passing the requestor's IP address on the local network (e.g. from an RFC 1918 private block) using the 'EDNS0 Client Subnet' and treats that as the 'source' IP for the purposes of rules and analytics.
